What is the IMO structure?
The International Mango Organization (IMO) is a Market Driven Organization (MDO) that exists to bring together the
greatest minds from the Mango Industry in all it's forms under one roof on a regular basis throughout the calendar year.
The International Mango Organization (IMO) provides a forum for the representatives of Mango Producing countries and their counterparts in the various International Markets, Government Bodies, and Scientific Community, to meet on a regular basis and work together in order to ensure the smooth functioning of the Supply & Demand Equation (Market equilibrium).
Founded in 2000, The International Mango Organization (IMO) is the sister organization of the International Pineapple Organization (IPO) founded in 2012 by Executive Director Will Cavan.
In 2014, Arne Rotne joined the organizations as the Executive Vice President / Director Business Development.
Now in 2019, Patrick Kelly is the Director of Innovation for both the IMO & IPO.
Together they lead a team of professionals to manage the organizations.

Why the IMO cooperative?
Our Members receive the best possible pricing and availability of products and services with our buying power, while our Sponsors have the opportunity to work with our membership as one large cooperative. Meeting several times annually at our Global Conferences, and working together throughout the year, it’s a win win for the members and sponsors of the IMO – International Mango Organization. The IMO designates 100% of the rebate fee per package to go directly back to the Mango grower communities. This will help with both economic and social responsibilities.
The International Mango Organization has developed this co op to maximize efficiency and profit for the mango industry through identifying common needs in Buying, Marketing, Cost Savings, and Consulting. The collective power of our sponsors brings strength to the individual members. That is the fundamental concept behind a cooperative. Our cooperative's mission is to identify common needs among its members and leverage the group to maximize efficiencies and economies of scale. It is the combined force of our members that gives the cooperative its power, and in turn that power makes the membership stronger and more efficient.
